Hotel Villa Ružica is located in close proximity to the centre of the city of Crikvenica, near the city beach; it takes only ten minutes of pleasant walk to get to the business centre or to some attractive amenities in centre of the city. The first hotel was opened on 12th February 1912, but in those times Villa Ružica was mainly intended to accommodate educational workers both as a resort and a conference place. It was completely renovated and again redesigned in the year of 2002. Then it became a three star hotel.

Crikvenica
Crikvenica is situated in Northern Adriatic, in the most beautiful part of the Kvarner bay, 35 km distant from the city of Rijeka. During centuries Crikvenica was being built as a commercial port, and then as a fisherman's village, but from the beginning of the 20th century it developed into a tourist centre. One can find in Crikvenica many restaurants of quality, highly supplied shops and health facilities, various sports activities, well-maintained beach, the clear sea (there are annual examinations by the German magazine ADAC Motorwelt that control the sea quality) and beautiful excursion destinations of Vinodol with its numerous historical monuments.
Crikvenica's city beach has been given many years the Certificate from the European Blue Flag, which is based on a European committee of judges and given to a very small number of beaches around Europe.
Crikvenica is accessible by road traffic and it takes mostly a day time to get there from most of Europe's regions.
